STEP 1
Solar Farm
Once you sign up, you are assigned a share of the solar farm’s electricity generation. Sunlight is absorbed and electricity is produced.
STEP 3
Invoicing
The utility sends you a
monthly invoice just as it always has. Only now it will include a monetary credit, reducing the amount that you owe.
STEP 2
Power Grid
The electricity is delivered right onto the utility grid. The utility measures the value of the electricity that is produced on your behalf.
STEP 4
Savings
You are invoiced for the monetary credit applied to your utility bill, at a 10% discount. This is where the savings come in!
